Sometimes there are credit cardholders that they can't pay their debts on time or in the extent of can't afford to pay anymore due to financial reasons. So collecting agents keep bugging you to pay off your debts. They're going to call you every day just to remind that you have to pay or settle your payments. Some collecting agents are really eager to have collections we can't blame them because it's their work anyway and they will have incentives if ever they're going to collect some amount of money.  But here in my country credit cardholder can file a complaint if ever the collecting agents have been harassing the cardholder. Unfair collection practices are considered as harassment so the consumer may file a complaint directly with the credit card issuer or even in some agencies that accredited by the Government.

I haven't experienced this and the reason for this is that I never allow myself to get into such a credit card debt that I cannot afford to clear it which would allow the credit card collecting agents the opportunity to call to remind me of paying my debts. This is why it's always encouraged to stay out of credit debt by not making use of credit cards for 100% transactions one is carrying out. Have a good source of income either on weekly or monthly basis which would afford you the fund to take care of any debt you have on your credit card.
No, I have never faced a situation such as this. But it is really unfair to find, that credit card collectors use such mean tactics to get cardholders pay their debts. This cannot be tolerated as they should be more lenient towards those who use their credit cards.
No i haven't experience that becuase when an agents harass us we can report them to the agency and they can be suspended or expaltion in the agency because thats the rule in the call center agent.
Actually no one agent are approved to do that such things to the costumer of the bank. And also if you encounter it you can report it to the bank because Im sure the bank will not tolerate this kind of attitude. And do remind also to us payers that we should not harass also the agents. It is viseversa implementation Smile
It is quite wrong of these agents to use force as a means of recovering money owed by these credit card holders. The thing that is better in this case is the need for us to see the bright side where we should understand that we have as humans where no matter what we did, it is only the law that can prove we are guilty on some cases.

You cannot really blame someone for trying to do his or her by calling credit card debtors to come and clear their debts. It's not that I'm supporting any form of harassment but an individual who is a credit card owner shouldn't put himself in a position where he would feel being harassed to come pay off his or her card debts. Remember that these agents works with instructions as I believe that they are were given the task to do so.
No I haven't experienced being harass by a credit card collecting agent. My bank won't send credit card collecting agent when every time I missed a payment. What they will do is, they will only send me a mail of notice attached with my bill.
