I once walked with my older sister, then before we reached the park my sister said she wants some drink before we continue to the park, then we go to an ATM machine nearest to the park, The exact amount that remains in my card is 5,326php, I did check the amount before withdrawing, but when I tapped on withdraw the ATM machine showed a message like "insufficient funds" then When I checked it it became 26php, the Guard said it is automatically Debited, but i said I didn't authorized anyone to withdraw from my card, Help me guys what should I do.

Have you experienced harassment by credit card collecting agents?
Posted by: aecel - 02-03-2018, 06:05 PM - Forum: Credit Cards - Replies (7)

Sometimes there are credit cardholders that they can't pay their debts on time or in the extent of can't afford to pay anymore due to financial reasons. So collecting agents keep bugging you to pay off your debts. They're going to call you every day just to remind that you have to pay or settle your payments. Some collecting agents are really eager to have collections we can't blame them because it's their work anyway and they will have incentives if ever they're going to collect some amount of money.  But here in my country credit cardholder can file a complaint if ever the collecting agents have been harassing the cardholder. Unfair collection practices are considered as harassment so the consumer may file a complaint directly with the credit card issuer or even in some agencies that accredited by the Government.

Tips on how to avoid paying penalties on credit card
Posted by: aecel - 02-02-2018, 08:23 AM - Forum: Credit Cards - Replies (13)

The only thing came to my mind is to be a responsible cardholder means to pay your bills on time. Sometimes we tend to forget to pay our bills it happens in real life maybe for some reasons like you lost track of time because you've been busy with your work or something came up that you needed to do first. I think also the best way is to pay in advance don't pay your bills in last one minute so if ever something came up or you forgot, you're safe for paying penalties because you've paid in advance. By being a responsible owner you can save lots of money.

How about you what tips can you give to avoid paying penalties?

Question Dollar Card maintenance fee
Posted by: Martinsx - 02-01-2018, 07:26 AM - Forum: Credit Cards - Replies (7)

We all have our favorite card used in carrying out all of our transaction. Some use dollar card while others use euro cards. Personally I make use of a dollar card which I was issued by my bank - Guaranty Trust Bank GTB. This my dollar card comes with a $20 annual maintenance fee.

How much are you charged for your card maintenance by your bank?

Posted by: marblank1313 - 01-31-2018, 08:29 AM - Forum: Payday Loans - Replies (7)

Have you tried paying loans by auto debit? Some of the lenders gives option to have your loan payment or installment by auto debit. Have someone tried to use this option? Is it safe for you account? It is maybe a good way to have your payments settled automatically to avoid delays, hassle and forgetting your debt. But would this be also risky on your part?

Exclamation Avoid making use of debit card at lonely ATM stations
Posted by: Martinsx - 01-31-2018, 04:49 AM - Forum: Credit Cards - Replies (11)

This is coming out as a piece of advice to all debit card users who frequent the ATM to make withdrawal every now and then. There has been an increased incidents where people who goes to ATM centers that awfully lonely with people hardly waking by are getting robbed at gun point, and are forced to make withdrawal on behalf of the gun men.

This morning I woke up to the news of what happened last night along one ATM stand in my neighborhood and it was so horrible the victim lost to these street thugs. Once it's a little dark and lonely, please keep your debit card in your purse or wallet and head straight home for security reasons and safety of your cash.

  Pawn Shops and Thieves

It seems like the cops would be aware of this.  In that case, why are they kept open?  Well, one compromise might be some investigation into the true ownership of pawned things.  Is that practical, though?
